The Solar Double Ring is a mesmerising solar‑powered kinetic sculpture that brings engineering, motion, and renewable energy together in one beautiful project. Kids assemble a wooden double‑ring structure, connect the motor and solar panel, and watch as sunlight powers the spinning spiral on top > creating a hypnotic, ever‑moving display.
This kit teaches children how solar energy transforms into mechanical motion. As they mount the gears, secure the rings, and connect the solar panel, they learn the fundamentals of circuits, rotation, and sustainable energy. When sunlight hits the panel, the sculpture begins to turn smoothly, creating a magical moment that feels both scientific and artistic.
Parents love how it encourages curiosity about renewable energy. Teens enjoy experimenting with light angles and customising the wooden design. Younger builders simply love watching the rings spin like a living sculpture.
A stunning blend of engineering, creativity, and clean energy.
